Avery's 9 Month Pictures

My friend April (Avery Kate's mom) took these pictures of Avery for me. She has a really nice camera and she did a great job! I really wanted to get some nine month pics. I am taking her to get professional ones done for her one year, but I really wanted to capture her in this stage before she changes too much. Thanks April , I love them!!

My Baby is 10 Months!!

Sweet Avery,

  You're 10 months old today! Can't believe you're in the double digits now. You have changed a lot this past month. Talking, crawling, and pulling up are the biggest things. You are able to say "ba ba", "da da" and "ma ma." I love your sweet little voice. You are all over the place now. Crawling everywhere you want to go and getting into everything. You never sit still. You are also pulling up to stand like a big girl! You love to stand and play at the ottoman and the window sills. You are working on your third and fourth tooth right now on the top. Clapping has become one of your favorite things to do. It's one of the cutest things I have ever seen! You still like reading, watching Praise Baby, Baby Einstein and you have discovered Sesame Street and you love it. We are working on teaching you baby sign language and you have been signing "more" when you are eating. You really like going to the neighborhood pool with Mommy and Daddy and we have really love seeing you enjoy being in the water. Chief and Chloe are still your favorite buddies and they can always make you laugh. Words cannot express how much your Mommy and Daddy love you. You are the best thing about us. I can't wait to watch you grow and learn more new things. Happy 10 months sweet girl! I love you to the moon and back.

Weekend Randomness

We had a nice weekend! Luke kept Avery all day while I went shopping with my friends, April and Tiffany. We started at 8am with garage sales, went to the Mckinney Trade Days, and then to the outlet mall before returning home around 6pm. What a day! My feet hurt, but we all know I love to shop so I'm not complaining. :) We got a picture of all three of us, but I didn't get it on my camera...

Bucket of Toys...

Avery's new thing is to pull over her toy bucket in the living room and drag out EVERY single toy in it. She thinks this is so much fun! Today she tried to crawl into the bucket and hang out a while. I ended up sitting her in it and turned it upright. She thought it was the coolest thing ever and just giggled and giggled! It was adorable. I think the last pic of her peeking out of it is one of my favorite pictures. She looks so cute and grown up. She really has been keeping me on my toes lately because she is into everything and is so mobile. I'm not ready for her to be walking, but I feel like it will be here before I know it!!

Weekend in Abilene

Long time, no post...I know the grandparents are upset. :) I have been busy chasing this little girl around. We also went to Abilene last weekend to visit. We had a great time and Luke and his dad built a new shelf for Avery's play room. It is so nice and will be a great place for her to store her books and toys. I still have to paint it so I'll post the finished product later. 

When we got home, Aunt Laura and Blaine were here to visit. We went out to eat, took Avery to the pool and had a great time. For some reason I only took one picture when they were here.

She has started clapping for herself all the time. It's really cute.

Beauty and the Beast...

Champ is my parent's 130 lb American Bulldog. He really is a big baby; so sweet and gentle. Avery just loves him! She wants to be wherever he is and constantly laughs at him.  I took these pics one morning while we were in Austin. She was so happy to see him come in and tell her good morning. The size difference is even more crazy in real life. I'm glad she is not afraid of him because he is so huge compared to her. Doesn't surprise me though, this little girl is pretty fearless. :)

I had to also get a pic of all the deer in my parents backyard. So pretty!

Weekend in Austin

Avery and I went to Austin last weekend to see my cousin graduate from high school. We had a great time hanging out with the family. We went to the Oasis restaurant on the lake and Avery loved sitting outside for dinner and looking at the water. It was a great weekend even though Daddy had to miss it. She sure was excited to see him when we got home. She got this pink longhorns hat when we were there. It cracks me up!
