I can't believe that it is almost December! We decorated for Christmas last week and it was so much fun because this year Avery has noticed all the decorations. She loved helping with the tree! She constantly points to the stockings saying "dis?" I love Christmas time! We took her to see Santa at the mall on Friday and you can tell by the pictures how much she enjoyed that! Hopefully she told him what she wanted at least. ;)

15 month check up and catch up!
Avery turned 15 months old on the 14th. I have been so busy that I haven't been able to clean my house, much less blog! I wanted to document what she's up to though so I will have it to look back on. We took her for her well check today. Seeing her run into the office and "talk" to every kid in the waiting room made me realize how fast she is growing up! She is so much fun! She is doing great, cutting several molars so that is no fun. She weighed in at a whopping 20lb with her clothes and shoes on! She is in the 10% for weight and 50% for length. Still my little petite girl. She talked to the doctor and "helped" her listen to her heart. It was adorable! Then she a got a shot... no fun, but she did well. Can't believe only one more well check till she's two! Seems unreal. She is really trying to talk more now. She says, momma, dadda, what's dis?, and dog. She still signs to eat, for milk and all done. She loves to read and now will pull the book away from you and take it to go sit and "read" to herself. Still sleeps great, 13 hr. a night, loves her paci and blanket at bedtime, loves Praise Baby, Elmo, stuffed bunny and pink poodle. I love this girl and I love watching her little personality develop!
We made a quick trip to Austin on Friday night and came home Sat. We went to a Rob Bell conference that Luke had been wanting to go to and then headed out to my Aunt and Uncle's ranch to hunt and hang out. My Aunt Gina babysat on Friday night while we went to the conference; Avery loved all the one on one attention and being spoiled...thanks Gina! She also had a blast the next day running around outside and playing at the ranch. It was good to see some family that I hadn't seen in so long! She's a girly girl but she sure can put on her camo and hang with the guys! She loved playing with the dogs and looking at the cows.
