August 8th

We had a fun day celebrating our Adalyn as a family on her actual birthday. Hard to believe we were celebrating her turning ONE!! We tried to do all of her favorite things that day and it was so much fun. Can't wait for the big party this weekend with all of the family!

1st Birthday!

Sweet Adalyn,

You're a one year old now!! Hard to believe one year has come and gone. You have brought so much joy to our family this last year. We love you so much!! You've changed so much this last month! You are all over the place, crawling and pulling up/cruising on everything. No walking yet and you haven't taken any steps yet. You're so content to sit and play with sister or be in some one's lap. You are still such a laid back baby. You have started showing more of your super fun personality now. You're quite a feisty little thing and will let someone know when you want something or don't want something. You love to yell! You sign for "milk", and "all done" You nap once a day whenever you can get it, you're a great shopping baby and will wait for your nap till 1-2 if needed. You sleep about 13-14 hours at night which is awesome; going down at 7 and and waking between 8:30-9am. A couple times a week you wake around 11pm to nurse. Your favorite foods right now are, bananas, raisin bread, spaghetti, avocado, peanut butter and jelly, chicken and green beans. You're a great eater and you're always happy if you have food in your hand! You're favorite things to do are: playing with sister(you want to everything singe thing she does) playing with the doll house, baths, singing and clapping, dancing to music(you love to bob your head!) reading and being attached to mom's hip. To say you're adorable doesn't even cover it! You're super squeezable cheeks, big eyes and smile are just too much for me. I love the way you cuddle, study my face while we sing before bed, they way you're so mesmerized by your sister, and how excited you get over the simplest things. Life is so sweet with you in it!! August 8, 2011 changed my life forever and I'm so very thankful for the blessing you are! Love you sweet Addy girl! Happy First Birthday!

Can't believe it's been a year of loving Adalyn! She is such a precious gift from God and I am overwhelmed with love for her! We had a great day celebrating her! I have watched this video of her birthday 100 times today and still cry each time. Treasured memories. More pics to come!

I'm Still Alive!

I'm still here! We moved to a new house a few weeks ago. Moving with a baby and 3 year old is not easy by any stretch of the word but we survived! We are so blessed to be in our new home and trying to get unpacked and settled. The girl's birthdays are this month and I feel like a super crazy woman running around with a million things to do! I'm back in the blogging world though; got to keep recording our precious memories! Here are a few pics of the last few weeks...

11 Months!

Sweet Adalyn,

You're 11 months old! Can't believe the next next time we take these pictures you will be a year old. It makes me sad but I love seeing you grow. I want to cherish all this time while you're little because it is going by way too fast! You are still the sweet little laid back girl that you've always been, but now you have decided that you want to explore more and get into things. It's fun to see you on the move! You're pulling up on everything now and getting around crawling/scooting. I think you may end up having a little temper too. You definitely know what you want and if it gets taken away, you have something to say about it. As calm as you usually are, you still are a strong willed little girl. You will already take toys from big sister and when she goes to take them back, you put up a fight.:) It's kinda cute! You adore Avery and want to do every thing she does so badly. She is so sweet to you, it melts me. Watching you two interact is one of my most favorite things. You love to food more now. You have gone straight from nursing to eating table foods and are slowly starting to wean. You nurse 3-4 times a day. You favorite foods right now are: green beans, black beans, spaghetti, chicken, sweet potatoes, and avocados. You also really love Baby Mum Mums. You still say, "mama" dada" and lots of other sweet noises, you especially like to holler!  Your little gummy grin has three teeth now, two on bottom and one on top with another about to break through. You love to laugh and clap when someone is being funny. It's pretty cute! You also love to make clicking noises with your tongue. It's kinda becoming your signature sound because you love doing it and really love it when people do it back to you! You're very friendly and wave and try to get people's attention when we go places. Your big cheeks, big eyes, and sweet smile win people over every time! I love you so much Addy girl! Hope you always know how much I simply adore you. You and sister are my world. I love you to the moon and back!

Happy 4th of July!

We had a great, laid back 4th of July. We spent the day at home as family and aside from the fact that there are moving boxes everywhere, we had a great day. We then met up with our friends, the Jacksons, for dinner and fireworks. We had a great time and the kiddos loved playing together and watching the show. Happy Birthday America!

9 Years

Luke and I celebrated 9 years of Marriage a few weeks ago! Can't believe it's been that long. Time flies when you're having fun I guess. I am so blessed to be with such a good man. No one makes me laugh harder, loves even the worst of me, encourages me, or leads me more to Christ than this man. I'd choose you again Luke Norsworthy! We were super blessed to have my sister in town to stay with the girls while we went out on a real date. A rare treat!!
