Weekend Fun!

We headed out to Abilene on Sunday for a quick trip to visit Luke's family and see some friends. It was a fun trip! The girls loved getting to spend some time with Nana and Grandpa.

Grandpa was so sweet to let Avery crawl all over his lap and play with him. He just had a major surgery 3 weeks ago and we are happy that he is doing so well.

Avery loved the fact that she got to sleep in bed with mommy and daddy while we were there. I think it was more fun for me and Luke to get to cuddle with her all night:)

We also got to see some of our best friends, the Storments. Great times! These girls have been friends since Avery was barley a month old and every time they see each other they pick up right where they left off.

We also took Avery to see where mommy and daddy went to school. She loved running around the campus at ACU. It's so beautiful on campus and it was great to be back. I felt SO old pushing around my double stroller and seeing all the cool college kids walk by. ;)

Avery said she wants to be an ACU wildcat. Let's hope she doesn't change her mind! (let's also hope the tuition doesn't keep soaring!)

Last stop was our old house. This was the first house Luke and I ever owned. So many sweet memories there. The yard looks horrible now but it was such a cute little house. Can't believe it's been 7 years since we lived there! It was fun showing the girls where mommy and daddy started out.
