Doctor's Appointments

Well checks for the birthday girls! Both checked out super healthy and I am beyond grateful. 

Avery barley tipped the scale at 31lb. Dainty little thing! I think she'll be in a car seat till 5 grade;) She was in the 4% for weight at 11% for height.

Adalyn does NOT love the doctor's office. She likes the actual doctor thankfully but hates everything and every one else there:) Poor baby, she just remembers the shots I guess. She is also a tiny, tiny little thing. Weighed in at 21 lb and in the 8% for weight and 40% for length.

We had to take a selfie because she refused to sit on the table or leave my lap at all for that matter

Meet the Teacher

The girls had meet the teacher day at preschool/MDO. Avery was so excited to start another year and Adalyn was excited because big sister was. The looked so cute in their matching skirts:)

Avery is in the blue stars class this year and has Mrs. Amy and Mrs. Michelle. She already knew several kids from last year. She could hardly wait to get into her room. 

Adalyn is in the Ducks class at Mother's Day Out. The same class where Avery started. She was so cute walking in and checking everything out. She actually was much less timid than I thought. I think it helps so much that Avery is there and excited about school. Her teachers are Mrs. Laura and Ms. Meagan

My big girl. I have mixed emotions about her going to school two days a week. I was super teary! I had decided that if she didn't like it, we'd wait till next year. I hoped she would! She wants to do everything like Avery and she seemed very proud to have her own classroom. Her teachers are super sweet and she only has 7 kids in her class so they gets lots of attention I'm sure!

Birthday Party!

We celebrated the girl's birthdays in one party at our neighborhood clubhouse and pool. It was a fun day and I can't believe my babies turned 5 and 2! We had a Princess and Minnie Mouse themed party. The girls seemed to have a great time with all their friends and our families. Here's a look at the day in pictures...

American Girl Store

My mom, sister and I took the girls to the American Girl Store in Dallas to shop and eat in the Bistro for their birthdays. What a fun day it was! Avery had gotten McKenna for Christmas and Adalyn picked out a Bitty Baby while we were there. They had a blast picking out clothes and accessories for their dolls. A little girl's dream for sure! 

We ate dinner in the Bistro and celebrated Avery's big 5. The staff sang to her and her doll and brought a cake and party favors. She felt so special:)

Such great memories were made. I love a day with my girls and seeing them so happy!

A day for Avery!

We had a great day celebrating our big 5 year old! She felt special and got to pick out what we did for the day. We started off with crown shaped pancakes:)

She chose to go to Build a Bear. So much fun!

She picked Olive Garden for dinner. It was a tough choice between OG and Chic Fil a. She's my kid for sure! What a great day celebrating a precious girl we love so much. Thankful for 5 wonderful years of Avery Ellen!
